Vessels’ seaworthiness

According to the 94-25-EC Directive (as it was amended by Directive 2003-44-EC) of the European Union for recreational crafts, the CE marking is mandatory for all new vessels from 2.5 up to 24 meters, which are to be sold within the European Union as well as the respective vessels that are imported for first time into the European Union member states.

Our company is certified by the Hellenic Merchant Ships Inspection General Directorate (HMSIGD) to provide certificate of seaworthiness for all non-traditional and polyester yachts and for commercial yachts with length up to 12 meters. For over 12 meter length boats, we cooperate with other certification authorities and IMCI members. Our area of responsibility for vessels’ seaworthiness is the entite Hellenic Republic territory.
